This assessment provides a clear, senior-level view of an organization’s readiness for institutional funding, growth, or leadership transition.
I work with boards, founders, and fiscal sponsors who need an external perspective on whether their organization is structurally, legally, and narratively positioned for the opportunities they are pursuing—or the risks they may be underestimating.
The focus of this work is clarity. It is designed to surface strengths, gaps, and misalignments early, before time, credibility, or resources are expended.
Assessment areas commonly include organizational positioning and narrative coherence; Candid / GuideStar profile review; governance structure and compliance status; program clarity; and overall grant readiness. Where relevant, I also review legal and regulatory standing, including IRS status, California FTB and Secretary of State filings, and board structure.
Deliverables include a written executive memo outlining key findings, readiness indicators, and prioritized recommendations. The intent is to give leadership a grounded, actionable understanding of where the organization stands and what must be addressed next.
This is a fixed-scope, short-term engagement designed to inform strategic decision-making. It is not grant writing and does not replace internal staff capacity.
Engagements are limited and offered by inquiry.
